I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas, if they celebrated it ^^;  As for me. . . The title says all.   The haul was very good this year, on account of the fact my mother cleaned out her considerable collection of accumulated gifts from the years- and also because my loving mother decided to humor me.

I am now the proud owner of a WACOM Graphire 3.  Ph34r!  Much hideousness has already been perpetrated and duly deleted as I'm attempting to get the hang of it, but no worries- it will take time, yet eventually I /will/ have artage.  ^_^ 

The icing on the cake is that it includes Photoshop Elements (I suspect this isn't the same as the fully fledged program, but hell, I'm not complaining) and Corel Painter - MS paint is no longer the only art program available to me. ^___^

. . . Accordingly, the first thing I did was attempt to scribble my elves.  Gah.  Bad habit, yes, I know.

Amongst my haul was also a series of shirts and sundry clothing (evidently my family feels the need to dress me.), DDR Max2 (with which I can torture myself and the siblings for hours!), SSX3, a good book (A lovely 600 pages of hardcover that I have already read, despite doing all sorts of things today.  Yes, I am a bibliophile), a pair of action figures (Aragorn and Spiderman.  I'm both amused and bemused, but hell, I can put them somewhere), a "I can't believe it's not Breyer!" horse figurine, a teacup for my collection, a necklace, and other bits and bobs that I can't even remember off the top of my head.  Good things, good things.

And since Flidge asked nicely, I'll post the ficbit as soon as I can figure out how to work the lj cut tags.  -_-;  No one needs to have four pages of elven spam on their friends page.

I've been awake for nineteen hours.  This is probably a bad thing.   I should remedy the situation before it gets any worse. . .
