Interlude of Leaves
Dec. 23rd, 2003 12:18 amLife as a tree?
MAPLE TREE (Independent) - no ordinary person, full of imagination and
originality, shy and reserved, ambitious, proud, self-confident,
hungers for new experiences, sometimes nervous, has many complexities, good
memory, learns easily, complicated love life, wants to impress.
. . . I wouldn't say I'm self-confident, but a fair amount of the rest is correct. For some reason, people always tell me I'm ambitious. I have no idea why, but I gather from context this has something to do with my wanting to get good grades while undergoing a vaguely masochistic schedule. Evidently, having a goal in school, if not life as of yet, is translated as having ambitions. Go figure.
"Learns easily". . . depends on the subject, I'm afraid. Wish that were true for all of them, but it generally only applies to the biological sciences. Good memory is subject to conditions, too- ask me something fangirl, and I will undoubtedly have some memory of it no matter how many years have intervened.
Also, afraid that's a miss on "complicated love life" and "wants to impress." Love life, /what/ love life? If I had one, it might be interesting, but as I have absolutely nothing, it can't possibly be less complicated than that. Wants to impress. . . Maybe, but I have no idea /who/. The impersonal public, maybe.
Mrgh. I want to write. No idea if I can- but I'll give it a shot.
