At long last!

First and foremost, thank you muchly to everyone who offered support for my friend. ^^  She's doing all right, back at home and attempting to patch things up as best she can.  She's still going to school, but she's going to have to finance herself somehow.  Her life reminds me of nothing less than a soap opera, as more things keep happening, but she's putting up with it remarkably well.

Secondly-  it's taken me a month now, a lot of applications, and a few interviews, but I have employment!  Why yes, soon I shall be enjoying the adrenaline highs of dealing with bitchy customers, navigating the treacherous waters of coupons, learning the fine skills of stocking, and how to politely tell people to bugger off while I am completely at their mercy! *cough* I got hired at CVS.

For better or worse, now I won't have to give up on retail, and can look forward to actually earning something by the end of the summer- spending money for Otakon (provided we can find some rooms to stay in.  Oh, that's going to be an adventure.), and possibly pay for the tickets to get me across the Atlantic to go see Flidge. ^_^

As for the numbers meme off of  kaitou1412 , "Windlion" adds up to 100, which means that I needed the first word of my first post- which was "true".  If you take a look, there are some really weird pictures out there.  None as disturbing as Ann-san's find, however. . .

Updates shall come as necessary- possibly when I have fic snippets to post.  For now, I shall be hyper!

Thanks XD CVS (I think it stands for "Convenience Value Service" or something to that effect) is a chain of drugstore/pharmacy/convenience stores that's pretty well established on the East Coast and attempting to take over the world. If you look at it in that light, I'm one of the newest minions on the bottom ranks- how encouraging!
But something's better than nothing ^_^
