windlion"Le fuck" does not begin to cover it. I have suddenly much more to rant about than I would like.
Cricket, my laptop of only a year or so, just died in a major way. Apparently a system boot file got corrupted, so the whole thing got stuck in a reboot-loop where it can't get through all the way before it shuts down and starts over again. The error message includes something about dumping physical memory when it flashes the blue screen of death and starts the cycle all over again.
So yeah. I'm fucked!
All of my art and fic files aren't backed up, either, so if I want to keep anything, I'm going to have to go to a computer store soon and try and recover it. The odds of it working, though, are debateable.
Not much more to say beyond the fact I'm seriously upset. I've had computers die on me before, but not like this, where there are files I really don't want to lose on it.
. . . I guess I'll be monopolizing the sister's computer until this is all settled. And now I have plenty of time to work on the costumes.

Need to go kick my own ass. Will be back eventually.
